Skin Transformation - AlumierMD at Broadway House

This young lady had very dry, sensitised skin, prone to flaking and redness, with a mild breakout when we saw her at Broadway House. Following a consultation about her acute and long term skin concerns as well as her goals, we decided on a course of treatments with AlumierMD. We started with a Radiant Peel back in March and over the course of lockdown, she has continued with the at-home AlumierMD skincare routine that we devised. The results are incredible. The Morning Routine:

Hydraboost Cleanser - A gentle intensely hydrating pH balanced cream cleanser which delicately removes impurities. Vitamin E, sunflower seed oil and Argan oil moisturise leaving skin smooth and hydrated. This cleanser is also an excellent make up remover.

EverActive C&E - A high strength Vitamin C and E serum which aids in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and revitalises skin. It’s also an antioxidant which fights against free-radicals and protects against UV damage. This product also contains Alumier’s amazing anti-aging peptide Matrixyl synthe 6, and it also brightens and evens out skin tone.

Acne Balancing Serum - An advanced serum that penetrates the pores to reduce acne and allow the skin to heal and prevent new pimples. An encapsulated Salicylic acid technology provides a slow, even release into the skin resulting in minimum irritation and maximum effectiveness. Reservation, hinokitiol and tea extracts provide protection against free-radical damage from the sun, pollution and irritation while honey, aloe and rice bran extract soothe and moisturise. Niacinimide and sodium hyaluronate work together to maintain the skins natural hydrolipid barrier. Apply to areas prone to breakouts.

Ultimate Boost Serum - A lightweight serum that boosts hydration and enhances the skins’ hydrolipid barrier with sodium hyaluronate and niacinamide. The amazing MATRIXYL synthe 6 strengthens and firms the skin while also improving elasticity and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This product also contains powerful antioxidants to neutralise aging free radicals and aids to protect the skin from future damage caused by the sun and pollution.

HydraDew Moisturiser - An intense moisturiser that nourishes and improves skin texture by using ingredients such as sodium hyaluronate, aloe and niacinimide, these ingredients help to soothe and hydrate the skin. The peptides in this product firms and strengthens the skin therefore reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The antioxidants protect and neutralise free radicals to help restore a healthy radiant complexion.

Sheer Hydration Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen SPF 40 - This product is a silky, sheer 100% physical sunscreen which protects against UVA and UVB rays. It combines zinc oxide and titanium dioxide whilst also moisturising with vitamin E. This sunscreen is also full of antioxidants including vitamin C, reservatrol, grape seed extract and glutathione. This lady chose the versatile tint version of this protect which is similar to a BB cream and provides a beautiful healthy glow.

The Evening Routine:

Hydraboost Cleanser

Lotus Scrub Exfoliator - This exfoliator uses lotus seed powder and microcrystalline cellulose to create an even and gentle exfoliation to remove impurities to reveal glowing skin. Lotus seed powder also has natural moisturising and calming properties. This scrub uses innovative technology to create smooth spherical agents, this is great because non-spherical exfoliating agents can irritate or injure the skin. This product should be used once or twice a week, such as the days where Retinol is not included in your evening routine.

Ultimate Boost Serum

Retinol Resurfacing Serum 0.5 - This serum is a pure potent microencapsulated retinol serum which helps you to achieve a radiant and more even complexion. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the skins texture and tone by stimulating collagen production and cell turnover. The formula in the retinol serums helps to target a new probe skin, minimise pore size appearance and skin tone. The microencapsulation of the retinol allows a gradual timed release into the skin overnight. The encapsulation and the addition of soothing and hydrating ingredients means that maximum results can be achieved in comfort with minimal irritation. This lady has used retinol before and therefore is able to use this serum every other evening. Retinol should ONLY be applied at night!

AluminEye - A luxurious eye cream which helps to improve elasticity and firmness while aiding in reducing the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. This product is a combination of tremella mushroom extract, niacinamide and muru butter which together help to moisturise while a combination of antioxidants protect against UV free radical damage. This eye cream is rich in peptides and vitamins and also contains light-reflecting ingredients that immediately lighten the appearance of under-eye darkness.
