Lipofirm Pro (Body Contouring)
How does it work?
​
Lipofirm Pro TriLipo Technology™ uses a combination of TriLipo RF Energy™ and TriLipo Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA) Energy™, which are delivered simultaneously using a single applicator. The RF Energy generates heat through tissue resistance in both the dermal (skin) and subcutaneous (fat) layers. This heat stimulates increased fat metabolism and also stimulates collagen re-modelling to tighten and smooth the skin. RF Energy also accelerates the action of fibroblasts, leading to long term continued collagen re-modelling, for effective and lasting results.

Internally, the DMA Energy causes the muscle to contract, elevating the muscle and pushing the fat layer up towards the surface. Externally, the fat cells are pushed down by the pressure applied using the applicator. This squeezes fat from the cells, resulting in the fat draining via the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the body's natural source of drainage.

The combined energies accelerate blood and lymph circulation, which in turn optimises tissue oxygenation and detoxification.

How long does it take?
​
One treatment area takes around 30 minutes. However, please allow an hour for appointments to enable consultation and before-and-after measurements and pictures to be taken for your personal treatment progress log.

Lipofirm Pro™ can show visible results after the first treatment depending on the area treated. The number of times a specific area needs treatment is dependent on the area, and the results you are looking to achieve and will be discussed during your consultation. Usually 8 treatments are required to achieve the best, long-lasting results.

The treatment will show the most visible results after 48 hours and will continue to work for 12 weeks.
​
There is no downtime with this treatment as it is entirely non-invasive.
​
We recommend at least 7 days between treatments of the same area.

Are there any adverse effects?
​
Although the following treatments are rare and temporary, you may experience some skin redness, tingling, bruising and tenderness. Ever had a hardcore session at the gym and had that aching feeling the next day? This is how clients best describe the feeling after a treatment.
